Professional Associations for Chiropractors
Chiropractors can belong to a number of professional organizations. Although there are many more organizations, read below to find out more about three of the biggest organizations of Doctors of Chiropractic.
American Chiropractic Association (ACA) is the largest organization that represents over 15,000 chiropractors in the United States. Members must uphold certain standards of ethics to ensure that patients receive the best possible care. The ACA also participates in advocacy for chiropractic and sponsors research in the field.
International Chiropractors Association (ICA) establishes best practices and standards for chiropractors all around the world. They offer education and training, in addition to sponsoring political and social action. They frequently advocate for the full inclusion of chiropractic in the mainstream medical field.
International Chiropractic Pediatric Associaion (ICPA) is a non-profit organization that has over 3,000 members. The ICPA advocates for family chiropractors on a national level, supports research, and provides education and training.
